Habitation Service

The Gas, Water and Electrical systems (12V and 230V) are checked for serviceability including

  • Gas system, pipework and regulator
  • Ventilation, rooflights, flues etc
  • Cooker, hob and grill
  • Water heater and space heater
  • Fridge *
  • Water system, pump and taps
  • Electrics 240v and 12v
  • Toilet flush*, seal and pump
  • Floor delamination check
  • Window seals, stays and catches
  • Fly screens and blinds
  • Internal door locks, hinges and catches
  • Fire extinguisher and smoke alarm
  • Full damp report

A damp check is included and a full report issued. Leisure batteries are checked for maintaining their charge. The 230V system Residual Circuit Breaker (RCD), Mini Circuit Breakers (MCB) and all sockets are inspected and tested. The units gas system is pressure tested prior to the inspection and testing of appliances. The fresh and waste water systems are checked, filters are replaced if required and a sterilisation test carried out. Fire extinguishers are checked, a smoke alarm and Carbon Monoxide tests are conducted.


*The fridge is checked for operation only. A fridge should be serviced every 12-18 months; this is a separate service and is not included in the habitational or annual service.

*Toilet cassette must be empty and clean if not this task will not be carried out.
